Chapleau Cree First Nation
In 2018/19, CES assisted Chapleau Cree First Nation in completing a Feasibility Study, Business Plan and Technical Assessment for the development of a community-based Cultural Ecolodge and Chalets. By using a multi-faceted business approach including a diversity of programs, activities and accommodations, the sustainability of this new venture can be ensured for years to come.
Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada
CES was hired by Tourism HR Canada and the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC) to assist in the development of nation-wide Indigenous tourism standards recognition program.
Cree Nation of Mistissini
CES worked with the Cree Nation of Mistissini to develop the My Mistissini 2034 Strategy which defines best practices, concepts, key initiatives and action plans required to provide guidance and set direction for tourism planning in the community for the next 20 years.
Indigenous Tourism Ontario
CES developed a new website and bold brand for ITO to transition from Aboriginal Tourism Ontario to Indigenous Tourism Ontario. This project included updating ITO’s logo, website, social media sites, and setting clear goals and budgets for internal and external marketing strategies.
Wikwemikong Development Commission
In 2014, CES assisted the Wikwimikong Development Commission in developing Point Grondine’s Business Plan which is based on developing an innovative, unique eco-friendly destination that will attract international attention.
Chesterfield Inlet
CES was hired to develop a Community Economic Development plan that would set direction and create a 5-year vision for the community.
Six Nations Tourism
CES developed a Plan for the Revitalization of Chiefswood Park for Six Nations Tourism. This Plan sets direction and opportunities that work towards creating a place where visitors and community members can come to learn about authentic Haudenosaunee culture and to experience the magic of this National Heritage Site.
Saugeen First Nation
CES developed an Operational Strategy for South Sauble Beach, one of Saugeen First Nation’s greatest treasures. The Plan highlights opportunities to preserve this immense resource for the community with respect to social, cultural and environmental well-being.
Sagamok Anishnawbek
CES developed My Sagamok 2022 - a Plan that provides strategic direction for the development of tourism over the next 5 years by focusing on putting the community first, inspiring entrepreneurship and business creation and focusing on responsible tourism development.
Town of Churchill
CES conducted an extensive training program for the Town of Churchill to help provide meaningful employment for community members and assist employers with recruiting well-equipped employees.
Sheshegwaning First Nation Leadership Centre
CES collaborated with the community’s leadership and architect Peter Rankis to develop an Operational Business Plan for the Sheshegwaning First Nation Leadership Centre.
Chesterfield Inlet
The My Community App Project was developed by CES and is led by the Chesterfield Inlet Elders Group Committee that targeted our community’s Youth to have their voices heard while affirming the importance of their culture and language.
Cree Nation of Nemaska
Pando Terra™ Community Tourism Plan was developed in consultation with the community. The plan provided a holistic approach to sustainable community development, ensuring long term success.
Town of Grande Cache
The project included a 5-year operational marketing business plan and product development for Grande Cache’s Dinosaur Tracks, utilizing key findings from a comprehensive resource inventory and stakeholder consultations.
Georgina Island First Nation
CES has developed a Marina Feasibility, Marketing Analysis and Implementation Plan for the Virginia Beach Marina and Restaurant to ensure a sustainable future.
Chippewas of Kettle & Stony Point First Nation
In 2017, CES worked with KSPFN to develop a feasibility study of the proposed waterfront development to identify areas for opportunity and to present a conceptual model that will enhance the community.
Cree Nation of Nemaska
CES developed Stories of Our Elders Interpretive Trail and Arts & Crafts eBoutique.
Wahnapitae First Nation Rocky’s Restaurant
CES developed a comprehensive Marketing Strategy and Rebrand for Rocky’s Restaurant that is aligned with the new Hotel in the community. This project included architectural renderings, design, and branding concepts for the newly renovated restaurant.
Wahnapitae First Nation
A Feasibility Study and subsequent Business Plan were developed for overnight boutique accommodations on the shores of beautiful Wanapitae Lake.
Nemaska Cree Nation
In 2017 CES had the opportunity to update Nemaska's Tourism Master Plan. Building on key elements, the updated plan emphasized the importance of creating unique overnight accommodations in the community such as mini-chalets, and the need for a new hotel in the future.
