Nemaska Cree Nation

In 2017 CES had the opportunity to update Nemaska's Tourism Master Plan.  Building on key elements, the updated plan emphasized the importance of creating unique overnight accommodations in the community such as mini-chalets, and the need for a new hotel in the future. Guidelines were provided for welcoming guests to Old Nemaska, and on including self-guided tourism activities like fishing boat rentals. Additional emphasis was placed on generating opportunities for existing businesses like the community's restaurants. And with rapid advancements in technology, recommendations were given to develop new products like My Community App and Authentic Indigenous Moments to maximize Nemaska's brand reach.
