srfn Mudge’s Fishing Camp

When Mudge’s presented itself for sale it was an easy decision for the community to purchase the Camp and make it their own. CES was hired to develop a 5-year Operational Business Plan for the newly purchased fishing camp for Seine River First Nation. The plan focuses on engaging the community at every step and providing significant opportunities for personal, cultural and community growth. The Camp will generate revenues to support community projects and services, will create employment opportunities, and will create programs and activities designed specifically for the community members.

The Operational Plan provides a comprehensive implementation plan that focuses on 3 stages of development: stabilization, sustainability and expansion. 

CES also conducted a Camp Operations Training Program designed to give participants a solid understanding of the skills, attitude and knowledge required to work in various positions at the lodge.
