Community Based Tourism Plan

Seine River First Nation is establishing a strong economic base for it community members through multiple industries, including tourism. To assist with developing a local tourism industry, CES created a community-based Pando Terra Tourism Plan. A component of the project was to create awareness about Seine River First Nation through a new website and interactive map. A community brand that highlights their efforts in ‘environmental stewardship through innovation and cultural preservation’ was developed and highlighted through the new website. An interactive map that will be available for download as an app was developed to highlight the community’s unique history and culture.

Seine River’s Tourism Plan is currently in the process of being updated and is anticipated for completion in 2020.
